Forever Righteous

My friend, the devil can only make inroads into our minds when he gets us to focus on our obedience instead of Christ’s obedience. His strategy is to point us to our obedience or the lack of it to determine our standing before God. But just... as our position as sinners is not based on what we do, but what the first Adam did, in the same way, we are forever righteous today not because of what we do, but because of what Christ, the last Adam, did on the cross.

Go ahead and pray, knowing that you have access to God and His favor, and that He hears the prayer of the righteous. (Proverbs 15:29)

 ***2 Corinthians 10:5
5casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

The Kingdom of God

The next time something troubles you, don’t focus on correcting the problem. Instead, seek first God’s kingdom and His righteousness. Make it a priority to have your inner man flowing with His peace and joy, and He will take care of that problem for you!
***Romans 14:17
17… the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Who shall bring a charge againts you?

My friend, don’t fall for the devil’s lies. If it is God who justifies you, no one can bring a charge against you! Satan cannot come before God to accuse you. Instead, you have free access to God’s throne of grace to “obtain mercy and find ...grace to help in time of need”. (Hebrews 4:16) Jesus’ holy blood has given you perfect standing in the presence of God!

 ***Romans 8:33
33Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.

Hope-does not disappoint

When you believe that God loves you, you will have a positive expectation of good. You will have a hope that does not disappoint. So be careful what you hope for because you are bound to get it!

 ***Romans 5:5
"5Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us."

Do not sit in the seat of Mockers (Scoffers)

  • Do not sit in the seat of mockers (scoffers)  2 Peter 3:3

If you are wondering   who the scoffers are, just turn on your Television  (perhaps this means that we should not in front of that screen to long).  This world is full of people who ridicule God, His people , His word.  They attack with foul language or belittle with intellectual babble.
Believers should never get too comfortable with them.  Although we are called to be Christ’s witnesses to a lost world, we ‘d be wise to draw lines of protection in our associations so that we are not negatively  influence or led astray.

Do not stand in the Path of Sinners

  • Do not stand in the Path of Sinners- Sinners here means “ Wordly Influences”

Although we may have to live or work with those on the wrong path, you don’t have to participate in their practices  The world has its own set of rules for achieving success but Christians are called to live by a higher standard.
When others urge you to compromise and do what you know is wrong, don’t be afraid to stand alone on God’s path.  We are called to be the light of the world, not to blend in with its darkness.

The Lord places us among unbelievers so they can see the savior in us (Matthew 5:14-16).

If He wants to advance you in your workplace, He will do it in his way and time.

Do not walk in the counsel of the wicked

  • Do not walk in the counsel of the wicked - Wicked here means- Ungodly or Unbelievers

We will be never be truly successful if we seek direction from people who does not really does not know the Lord  . This applies to every area of life- business, finances, relationship or whatever. Someone impressive degree or extensive experience is no guarantee that the advice is godly-
We should even be cautious about accepting guidance from other Christians , because not all believers are spiritually mature and wise..  Their advice may actually be more wordly than godly.“The only way to guard our path is to prayerfully compare all counsel to scripture .  If there is any contradiction disregard that advice because it will not lead where the Lord wants you to go.

A Cursed Person-who trusts in man

http://www.cosmosmagazine.com/system/files/20070621_drought.jpg

Jeremiah 17:5-6
This is what the Lord says:“Cursed is the one who trusts in man,  who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the Lord 6 That person will be like a bush in the wastelands;
they will not see prosperity when it comes. They will dwell in the parched places of the desert, in a salt land where no one lives.

A Person who meditate the word of God

God blesses anyone who refuse to do evil, instead the word of God makes them happy, and they think of it day and night. They are like....

Psalms 1:3
He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.
Jeremiah 17:8
He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit."
